Purple Zone – Funky Craft Area
Our Purple Zone is all about creativity, expression, and having fun with hands-on activities. From silver ring making and plant propagation to designing your own headwear and creating unique keepsakes, this space encourages young carers to explore their imagination and try something new. With music, face painting, and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere, it’s the perfect place to get creative, express yourself, and take home something you’ve made.
Yellow Zone – Inflatable Fun
The Yellow Zone brings energy, excitement, and plenty of laughter with a range of inflatable activities and games. From obstacle courses and gladiator duels to giant games and interactive challenges, this area is designed for fun, movement, and friendly competition. Whether you’re racing your friends or just enjoying the experience, it’s a high-energy space where everyone can get involved and have a great time.
Blue Zone – Creative & Digital Experiences
The Blue Zone combines creativity with technology, offering a unique mix of digital and interactive experiences. From animation and film making to 3D art, paint spinning, and silent disco sessions, this area gives young carers the chance to explore new skills in a fun and engaging way. It’s a space for creativity, expression, and trying something completely different in a supportive environment.
Green Zone – Outdoor & Wellbeing Activities
The Green Zone is all about fresh air, adventure, and wellbeing. With activities like bushcraft, archery, climbing, and team-based challenges, this area encourages young carers to get active, build confidence, and enjoy the outdoors. Alongside the activities, there are also quieter spaces like the chillout tent, offering time to relax, reset, and recharge when needed.
Orange Zone – Food, Talks & Festival Hub
The Orange Zone is the heart of the festival, bringing together food, information, and shared experiences. This is where meals are served, talks and workshops take place, and important services like information stands and charging points are located. It’s a central hub where young carers can gather, refuel, learn, and connect throughout the day.
Red Zone – Fire Service & Interactive Learning
The Red Zone offers a mix of fun and learning through interactive experiences with the fire service and engaging activities. From exploring emergency vehicles to taking part in cognitive challenges and games, this area provides a unique opportunity to learn new skills in an exciting and hands-on environment.
Evenings – Entertainment & Social
As the sun sets, the festival comes alive with evening entertainment designed to bring everyone together. From karaoke and prize bingo to cinema nights and live DJ sessions, these shared experiences create a fun, relaxed atmosphere where young carers can unwind, socialise, and make lasting memories with new friends.
